- Congratulation to Bruce B. which recorded his first round of golf in the seventies (77) at Conestoga Golf and Country Club. Bruce has been under one of my specific program since last December. All his hard work is starting to pay off! I am looking forward to our game next Thursday knowing I will have to bring my A game to compete. Way to go.
- Congratulation to Robert S. who brings home his first victory home after winning the Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club Golf Town event on July 5th. His hard work this past winter (conditioning) and spring (his short game) allowed him to shoot a brilliant 82! Bravo.
- Congratulation to Wentworth W. for qualifying for the Toronto Star Amateur. Royal Ashburn was the venue on Monday June 20th. After a good start (birdie #1), a steady front nine until reaching Hole 6 when Rain and wind decided to invite themselves. Making the Turn at two over Par, 3 bogeys in a row starting to put pressure on his opportunity to qualify! 78 was the number to aim. The last 5 holes played 1 over Par with great chip on 14, a amazing sand save on 16 and a stressful downhill slider on the 18 green to qualify right on the bubble. What a day!
