Testimonials
I think I would make a good reference for you to use to get new clients. It goes like this…
-i have played golf for 45 years
-have had more than 15 teachers over that time
-i even had Tiger’s current coach (Sean Foley) as my coach at glen Abbey
-i am a student of the game (read books, golf channel, etc)
-nobody has helped me more than you to play better, shoot lower scores, and simplify the swing. Nobody better than you. By a long shot.

Stephan has been my coach for the past three years. We have focused on weight shift and balance and my learning to feel the swing and how one action affects the next, ie that biophysics plays a role. The tools like the force plate and video are very instructive. My set up has improved, the importance of alignment stressed, my swing is shorter and more repeatable, my chipping is much better and my handicap down 3 strokes. Highly recommend Stephan and time in his lab – a mix of technology and old time lessons are both needed.

Since I have begun the quest to play a better game of golf, I have taken numerous lessons from a number of Golf Professionals. Each Golf Professional had various ways to teach the golf swing but none of the tools to teach it properly. I was often left wanting; wanting for that repeatable swing I could put money on it and win. I tried different instructional medias that all promised, longer, straighter and with accuracy. But, still no real results.
Today I am working with a professional that has the tools and knows how to utilize them. Stephan Roux is by far the best teacher and coach I have ever had. Using his arsenal of tools (which is a combination of hardware and software), he was able to teach me how to achieve a fundamentally sound golf swing that can be repeated time after time.
His method of demonstration through hardware and software was a game changer. By using high-speed cameras, a launch monitor, SAM Balance Lab and software from GASP Lab, Stephan was able to tie it all together. I was finally able to see how a proper address position was suppose to look like. How a proper take away, back swing, down swing, impact and follow through was suppose to look like. Most of all Stephan was able to teach me how to use my lower body, to generate tremendous power and balance in a swing. There was a physical component as well. I was provided with a number of physical exercises to get my body in some kind of condition to make a swing. These exercises strengthened, increases my flexibility, taught balance and endurance. Stephan provided me with the instruction to finally learn the golf swing I’ve always had in me.
It has taken a lot of work on and off the course to engrain what Stephan was able to teach me, but it’s finally starting to engage itself. Last year at this time I would normally shoot seven or eight over par on a nine hole round. This year I have moved up to ‘A’ division from ‘B’ division. I’m in the top ten. My last nine hole round I hit 4 fairways and 7 greens at one over par. Achieving solid contact and accuracy with every stroke. I even beat out the club owner who shot five over. I am still improving, the stronger I get the better the swing becomes. The more I practice the more the swing becomes consistent and reliable. I am getting to the point where I think about the shot and not the swing.
Stephan Roux is by far the best instructor I have ever worked with and the proof is in the results. Without Stephan Roux’s guidance I could not have taken my swing to this level of results. If you want to learn what your golf swing can look like, Stephan Roux is the one Golf Professional that can unleash it.

Having Stephan as a coach for the past 3 years was the best decision I made for my game, I have seen significant improvements which I accredit to him. Stephan goes out of his way to make his lessons understandable so that once he has left you can still practice on your own. He is not satisfied with a quick fix but rather wants to implement things that will make you a better golfer for life. Stephan truly understands all aspects of the game, not just the biomechanics of the swing, but the need for strong physical and mental states. Stephan is an excellent teacher who anyone lucky to have a lesson with him will directly benefit from.
